Common Questions
A bubble is a location-anchored social space on the map. Anyone can create one — think of it like dropping a pin that becomes a community. Bubbles can be public (anyone can join), private (host approval required), or invite-only (via access code or friends list). They can be permanent or ephemeral.
Yes. POP is free to download and use. All core features — creating bubbles, posting, chatting, and connecting with others — are available at no cost.
POP uses your location to show you nearby bubbles on the map and to enable you to create location-anchored bubbles. Your location is only collected while you are actively using the App. You can control your visibility within bubbles using the anonymity settings, and you can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings.
Yes. POP offers several anonymity controls. You can set your profile to private, go anonymous to strangers (non-friends can't see your identity in bubbles), enable anonymous posting, or hide your activity from friends in specific bubbles. You have full control over who sees what.
To delete your account, you can do so through the App's settings. Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days of the request.
If you encounter inappropriate content or behavior, you can block the offending user directly within the App. Bubble hosts and representatives also have the ability to moderate content within their bubbles.
Power is a reputation and engagement score. You earn power by creating posts, leaving comments, receiving likes, and participating in polls. Your power level is visible on leaderboards within bubbles, reflecting your contributions to the community.
You must be at least 13 years old to use POP. Users between 13 and 17 should have a parent or legal guardian review and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
